Our Vance County Flag was commissioned and approved by our Vance County Board of Commissioners in late 1995. It reflects the character and fabric of the entire county. It is patterned after our Flag of the State of North Carolina to represent the direct relationship between state and local government.

Our County Flag proudly showcases our newly-adopted County Seal. Our County Seal displays an outline of our county and contains numerous references to our community life and history. It was designed by a committee comprised of representatives from different aspects of Vance County community life. The seal is unique to our county and incorporates various symbols and pieces of important information.
